Quick fix facials

saw these in boots the other day,
brought the anti blemish  mud mask first, put it on and it didn't have a stingy feel like some masks.A small bit went a long way, left it on for ten minutes and then used a warm cloth to get it off, after my face felt refreshed and felt a lot of softer.  my skin looked red at first but once it calmed down, It seemed to be a lot less oily. the day after my spots seemed a lot less angry and the rest of my face was not as oily as normal. a bottle has at least 10x masks in it and is in a brightly coloured tube, the smell of the mask is okay. I

was impressed with this mask and brought some of the other collection. a brightening peel ( which helps dull and uneven skin tones), exfoliating mask ( helps reduce blackheads blocked pores) and purifying charcoal ( which helps congested and lifeless skin).  im so impressed with these face masks as I need them for different parts of my face, and for only £4.99 a tube I think it very worth it! boots have been doing a 3 for 2 offer which is really worth doing!

IMATS 2014

This was the 3rd year of going to imats! went both days instead of just Saturday,  I had a little list of things I would like and first thing i did was go get the velvetines before they sold out!  got them then walked around looking at things I would like,  brought the sugar pill prop pallet ( its beautiful ) wanted it for a while as I brought one of the little pallets already and the pigments were insane!  there was so amazing talent at imats this year and was blown away with the prosthetic's and body painting defiantly gave me lots of inspiration! 

 brought way to much stuff for my kit, including the art of male make-up.  this book is beautiful! (A must for any MUA) watched the talk by Daivd Horne ,Spob and Mark Bowels, it gave me so much information about male makeup which i have never thought about before ,when I went to get  the book signed by them felt so star struck!  they were the nicest people ever!  had such an amazing weekend at IMATS spent to much but was another brill couple of days! would recommend it to any make up artist! 

 

end of year show!

Been so busy these past few months that I haven't kept up with my blog!  so much has happened and created a few big looks!  one of the reasons I have been busy has been because of my final show.  I had to remake the mad march hare but didn't want to do a typical hare, I wanted it to stand out and have a big wow factor. I made the skirt and wig and the rest was body painting.  it was very stressful but was so worth it as it got in the paper and seeing peoples reactions to it was amazing!
